About the Authors

Zachary wrote this story for a school project when he was 9 years old. Zach, now 25, works full-time as an electrical engineer in Detroit, Michigan, and has remained in remission. He graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Zach loves Boston, robotics, and his Corgi, Gideon.

Hannah Kuleba, 21, is currently a graduate student at the University of Vermont and will graduate in May with a Master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering. She plans to pursue a job in the field after graduation. In her free time, she loves spending time with friends, traveling, and hitting the slopes!
